Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
For the Topping
  • 1 cup jelly or jam your choice of flavor, such as grape or strawberry

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the peanut butter and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Spoon the jelly or jam evenly over the top of the batter. Do not mix; let it sit on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cobbler to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
