Preparation

- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Coat the Chicken
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
- Then, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Bake the Chicken
- Place the breaded chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Add Sauce and Cheese
- Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each piece.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
