Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 2 cups steamed broccoli
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Method
 

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Prepare for Serving
  1. While the chicken is cooking, steam the broccoli until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Cook rice according to package instructions.
Serve the Dish
  1. Slice the grilled chicken and serve it over a bed of rice, with steamed broccoli on the side.
  2. Drizzle any remaining juices from the cooking over the chicken for added flavor.
