Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup parsley fresh, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Method
 

Prepare the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper, stirring well to combine.
Finish the Dish
  1. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or pepper as desired.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
