Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Make the BBQ Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, honey, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
Grill the Chicken
  1. Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the preheated grill.
  2. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Add the Sauce
  1. During the last 2-3 minutes of grilling, brush the warmed BBQ sauce over the chicken breasts.
  2. Continue to grill until the sauce is caramelized, being careful not to burn it.
Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Slice and serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
