Chicken Spaghetti With Burrata

Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 cups chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Topping
  • 2 balls burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil torn

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Making the Sauce
  1. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and let it simmer for another 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce evenly.
  2. Remove from heat and transfer to serving plates.
Serving
  1. Top each serving with a ball of burrata cheese and sprinkle with fresh basil.
  2. Serve immediately, allowing the burrata to melt slightly into the pasta.
