Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. For the cookie dough, cream softened butter with remaining sugars. Add one egg and vanilla extract, then mix in flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda until just combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on the baking sheet, followed by dollops of brownie batter. Swirl together slightly for a marbled effect.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
