Pistachio Strawberry Kunafa Cups

  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 100g chopped pistachios
  • 150g fresh strawberries, diced
  • 200ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 100g cream cheese, softened
  • 30g sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50ml water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix kunafa noodles with melted butter until evenly coated.
  2. In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese with sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Gently fold in chopped pistachios and diced strawberries.
  3. Press small portions of the kunafa mixture into muffin tins to form cup shapes. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Allow the cups to cool slightly before filling them with the pistachio-strawberry mixture.
  5. For the sauce, combine remaining diced strawberries, water, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat; cook until syrupy (about 5-7 minutes).
  6. Drizzle warm strawberry sauce over filled kunafa cups and serve immediately.
