Instructions

  3. Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheets and create thumbprints in each cookie.
  6. Fill each thumbprint with about half a teaspoon of Nutella.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire racks.
