  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp green food coloring (gel)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (for frosting)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Divide batter evenly between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
