  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and ground beef. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes until thickened.
  4. In a baking dish, layer meat sauce at the bottom, followed by lasagna noodles, more meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil in the last 10 minutes to let the cheese bubble.
