  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot; add salt and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

  3. Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet; cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving ½ cup of cooking water. Combine drained pasta with tomato mixture in the skillet.
  5. If needed, add reserved pasta water for desired sauciness. Stir in fresh basil just before serving.
