  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup eggnog (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin in a small bowl with 3 tablespoons of cold water for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir until dissolved and heated through without boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in eggnog and nutmeg. Then stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving glasses or molds and let cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or until set.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce on top just before serving.
