- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly against the grain
- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (dark)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking
- Prepare all ingredients: Slice beef, trim green beans, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch mixture, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear beef strips for 3-4 minutes; remove from pan.
