  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: Slice beef, trim green beans, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch mixture, and sesame oil until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear beef strips for 3-4 minutes; remove from pan.
  4. Add green beans to the same pan; stir-fry for about 3 minutes until bright green. Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Return beef to the pan along with the sauce mixture. Cook until beef is fully cooked and the sauce thickens (about 2-3 minutes).
