Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium Russet potatoes (about 300g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch) using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and thoroughly dry the potato slices with paper towels.
  4. Toss the dried slices in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and paprika until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about five minutes.
  6. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
